
Nicholas Highe, PhD
Meet our Founder:
For over twenty years, Nick has spent his life’s work in the helping field. He carries with him a strong passion and wealth of knowledge interpreting and navigating student and family challenges from Kindergarten through 12th grade and beyond. Nick started his career in education working as a Teacher Assistant in a Special Needs classroom, Social Services Case Manager, and Residence Hall Director in one of the largest higher education institutions in North Carolina. As a former School Counselor for more than 10 years, he has served in the capacity of Intervention Team Lead, 504 Coordinator, Academic Advisor, College Advisor, and Mental Health Specific Counselor across 3 different school districts in North Carolina.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication’s from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Masters of Science degree in Counselor Education (School Counseling) from Jacksonville State University in Alabama, and his PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from North Carolina State University.
